It Starts With Us.

For married couples to rebuild intimacy, communication, and connection while navigating the realities of raising young children

Somewhere along the way, you accepted the story that this is just what happens when you have kids.

Less fun. More distance. Endless logistics. Less sex. More resentment.

But what if the years of raising young children were actually one of the greatest opportunities you'll ever have to fall even more deeply in love?

To understand what each of you needs when you're overwhelmed.

To learn how to repair after conflict instead of staying stuck in it.

To build the kind of emotional safety where both of you can soften instead of protect yourselves.

In doing so, you don't just strengthen your marriage; you also create the relationship your children will carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Imagine this…

The kids are finally asleep. You both collapse onto the couch, exhausted. Instead of reaching for your phones or talking about tomorrow's logistics, you both exhale. In the pause, you turn towards each other, and he says,

Watching you become a mother has made me love you even more."

Or maybe it’s one of those mornings. Your toddler is screaming because their favorite green cup is missing. The baby is crying. You're both running on five hours of broken sleep.

You catch each other's eyes across the kitchen, and you laugh. The moment is still chaotic. But you're facing it together instead of against each other.

Not because parenting suddenly became easy.

But because you learned how to stop turning your stress against each other and start turning toward each other instead.

This is what becomes possible when you have the tools to navigate parenthood together.

Not perfectly, but as partners who feel deeply connected, know how to communicate in a way where you both feel consistently heard, understood, and that your needs matter. Partners who genuinely feel on the same team, who laugh more, repair more, and find their way back to each other, even in the hardest seasons.

Because parenthood doesn't have to cost you your relationship.

It can become the very thing that deepens it—where you build a love that is stronger, more intimate, and more resilient than ever before.

❋Biweekly Practices + Integration

Every other week, you'll receive a specific practice you can actually use at home:

Communication structures that reduce escalation before it starts. Repair rituals that rebuild trust after conflict. Intimacy practices designed for the reality of parenthood. Nervous system tools for when you feel yourself shutting down or blowing up.

Sam is a husband, dad of three young kids and someone who has learned that building a great marriage is often much harder than building a company. Over the past decade, he and Talia have invested thousands of hours in their relationship through coaching, therapy, workshops, retreats, and countless honest conversations, building a marriage that feels stronger, safer, more intimate, and more supportive than they ever imagined. Along the way, he's discovered that fatherhood is one of life's greatest privileges and invitations to grow.

Professionally, Sam is an entrepreneur who has spent the past 15 years building learning and personal development companies, is a coach with a master's degree in clinical psychology, and has facilitated experiences for tens of thousands of educators, leaders, and innovators focused on developing the human skills that matter most. He also leads local men’s groups and fathers’ groups in Boulder, creating spaces where dads can show up honestly, support one another, and become better husbands and fathers. He believes one of the greatest gifts parents can give their children isn't perfection. It's a marriage they're grateful they got to grow up watching.
